Description

Somebody said adventure. You heard dessert.

This funny backpack carries a small brown badge of a s'more on a roasting stick, repeated across a white ground with a three-line joke for anyone who joins the trip because of the snacks. Behind the joke is a medium everyday bag for class, work and the gym, and it makes a good-natured gift for the friend who guards the marshmallow bag.

I Thought You Said S'mores, up close

The lettering comes in three lines of brown capitals: a large arched word on top, a smaller arched line right under it, and the biggest word set straight along the bottom. Read in order they say "Adventure? I thought you said s'mores."

The snack itself sits between the lines. A tan graham cracker with dots on top, a white toasted marshmallow with dark chocolate running over it, a slab of chocolate and a second cracker underneath. A thin stick runs through the marshmallow, as if it were still on its roasting stick, and a small brown pine tree stands on each side.

Row after row, the badge is stepped half a place sideways, with plain white left around every repeat, in chocolate brown, tan and white only. The print runs over the front and its zip pocket, down both sides, across the top and under the base. Turn the bag around and you find a black mesh back, with black shoulder straps, a black carry handle and a black zipper pull.

An everyday bag behind the joke

  • Made of 100% polyester at 9 oz/yd² (305 g/m²); the material is water-resistant, which helps when the weather turns damp
  • Open the large main pocket and a 15″ laptop has its own separate section, apart from your books and lunch
  • Small things go in the zippered front pocket, and a hidden zippered pocket on the back of the bag is a place for a wallet or keys
  • The top zipper runs on two sliders, so you can open it from either side
  • Padded, ergonomic shoulder straps with sliders to set the length, a soft mesh panel against your back and a silky lining inside
  • Size: 16⅛″ × 12¼″ × 3⅞″ (41 × 31 × 10 cm), with a weight limit of 44 lb (20 kg)

Who it's for

Car campers who volunteer for dessert duty, students with a sweet tooth, camp counselors, and anyone whose favorite part of a hike is the part where it ends. Take it to school, to the office or to the gym, and let it haul the treats on the weekend. It is a fun pick for a secret-santa swap, a birthday, or a present before summer camp.

Quick answers

Is the forest in the first two photos part of the print?

No. That misty forest is only the setting of those two photographs. On the bag itself you get the s'more on its roasting stick, flanked by two small pines.

What kind of days is it meant for?

Ordinary ones. It is a medium backpack made for everyday carry and sport, which fits the joke: it would rather hold a laptop and a bag of marshmallows than a week of trail gear.

Chocolate on the fabric. Now what?

A soft cloth dampened with water takes care of small marks. Give the bag time to dry before you pack it again.

For the camper who came for dessert and stayed for, well, a second dessert.

Why it gets a laugh and gets used

  • The joke lands first — a marshmallow sandwich on a twig, flanked by tiny evergreens, with a punchline about preferring treats to effort.
  • Not just a punchline — your 15″ laptop rides in a separate section, keys hide in a rear pocket, and the straps are padded for the walk.
  • Pack it as the present — fill it with crackers, chocolate and marshmallows and the gift doubles as its own wrapping.
