A lightning bolt in a raised fist, and a cheerful warning that the Greek has arrived.

This Greek pillow puts a bold blue-and-gold lightning-fist badge on the sofa, circled by the playful promise Have No Fear, the Greek Is Here. It brings some swagger to a family living room, a chapter house lounge or a dorm bed, and says who lives there before anyone sits down.

The design: a Greek pillow with a thunderbolt fist

At the center, a gold fist outlined in blue grips a jagged gold lightning bolt that bursts out past the top right of the badge and drops below its lower left edge. Behind the fist, a gold disc throws out sunburst rays, all held inside a thick blue ring with a cream outer edge.

HAVE NO FEAR climbs the left side of the ring in bold, condensed blue capitals, and THE GREEK IS HERE curves down the right side and around the bottom, so the line wraps the fist like a rallying shout. Royal blue and warm gold on the white cover keep the badge bright and easy to read on a couch or a bed.

A cushion that is easy to live with

• Both faces carry the same badge, so whichever side lands up after movie night, the lightning fist is showing
• Cover and insert are 100% polyester, and the cover fabric (220–250 g/m², 6.49–7.37 oz/yd²) feels soft against your arm
• The zipper tucks into a seam, out of sight and away from the design
• Spills happen: unzip, pull the insert out and machine-wash the cover
• It arrives filled, with a polyester insert that keeps its plump shape; that insert is washed by hand

Who it's for

Greek Americans, anyone proud of Greek roots, fraternity and sorority members, and friends who love to remind you where their family comes from. It belongs on a living room sofa, a chapter house couch or a dorm bed. A name day, a big-little reveal or a housewarming is a good moment to hand one over.

Quick answers

Does the design show a chapter's letters or crest?

No. There are no Greek letters, crests or organization names on it, only the badge and the phrase, so it suits any chapter, any family and any heritage celebration.

Is a Greek god pictured?

No figure appears. The bolt in the fist recalls the thunderbolt from the old myths, but the art stays a pride badge, which keeps it easy to pair with modern decor.

Does the long 20″×12″ size cut off any of the badge?

No. The whole badge and every word stay in one piece, centered with open white space on either side. On the square sizes the badge fills most of the face instead.

Why does the 18″×18″ measure a little under 18 inches?

Laid flat it comes to 17.72″ on each side, and every size can differ by up to 1″ (2.5 cm), so check the size guide next to the size options if a chair or shelf is tight.
