Some doorways open onto the whole sky.
This planet poster sets a glowing arch at the top of a round staircase, with ringed worlds drifting overhead, for anyone whose daydreams run a little further out than the ceiling. It comes as a square matte print, an easy pick for the stargazer on your list.
The design: an arch where the planet should be
A tall arch with a rounded top stands in the middle of the picture like a free-standing doorway, pale lilac-pink on the outside. A band of warm neon light lines its inner edge, white-hot at the center and fading to orange-peach. Look through it and you find more night sky and one bright star, so it opens onto space, not onto a room.
A short flight of narrow steps climbs to the arch from a round platform of wide circular tiers, all in soft pink and lilac with peach light catching the edges. One giant planetary ring, built from fine bands of peach, lilac and pale blue, sweeps diagonally across the scene, slipping behind the arch and across its opening. No planet sits inside that ring: the arch stands in its place.
Two small ringed planets with blue-and-cream stripes tilt in the upper corners, and two striped spheres without rings rest near the floor. Above them the sky runs from deep navy through violet and teal to a peach-pink glow at the horizon, dotted with four-point sparkle stars and two faint shooting-star streaks. The smooth pale floor mirrors that glow. Nothing is written anywhere on the print; the soft 3D-rendered, retro-future look carries the whole mood.
A square planet poster on matte paper
- Choose 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm), 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm), 14″×14″ (35.6 × 35.6 cm), 16″×16″ (40.6 × 40.6 cm) or 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm); the whole scene appears at every size
- At 189 g/m² and 10.3 mil, the matte sheet gives the pastel gradients a soft-looking surface
- With 94% opacity, the navy sky stays deep even on a pale wall
- Paper brightness is 104% ISO, a clean start for the peach horizon and the neon edge
- Japan is where the paper is sourced
- It arrives unframed, so the frame and mat are your call
Who it's for
Stargazers, science-fiction readers, late-night playlist makers and anyone who likes a room with a little dream logic in it. It settles in above a desk, beside a bed, in a studio or over a reading chair, and it pairs easily with plants and warm lamps. It makes sense for a housewarming, a dorm move-in, a new studio or the birthday of someone who still looks up at night.
Quick answers
Which planets does it show?
Imagined ones. A pair of small worlds with rings hangs in the upper corners, a pair of banded globes sits low beside the steps, and the arch stands inside one enormous ring.
How do I match a size to my space?
For a desk corner or a shelf grouping, 10″×10″ (25.4 × 25.4 cm) or 12″×12″ (30.5 × 30.5 cm) keeps it small. Over a bed or a sofa, 18″×18″ (45.7 × 45.7 cm) gives the arch and its ring the most room.
Does the neon edge light up?
The glow is drawn into the picture. It is printed ink on matte paper, so it looks the same by day and by lamp light.
Which frame style flatters it?
A thin, plain frame keeps the eye on the arch, and a wide mat gives the sky some breathing room. The sheet is square, so square frames are the ones to look for.
