Three short words and a handful of joined-up stars.
This constellation mug carries a three-word motto in heavy serif capitals, with a small line-drawn star figure on either side. It is a cone-shaped latte mug for sky-watchers and for anyone who likes a plain-spoken line with the morning coffee.
Big letters, small stars
The words read "Trust the Signs", set in three stacked lines of solid black serif capitals. The top and bottom words are the large ones, and each opens with an oversized letter: the first T stands taller than its neighbors, and the first S dips under its line. The middle word is smaller and sits centered between the two.
Next to that middle word, one on each side, is a small constellation drawn in thin lines. On the left, three spiky little stars are joined into a narrow triangle. On the right, a few more are linked into a flat, kite-like figure with one line across it. Neither one is labeled, so you can read into them whatever patch of sky you like best.
Everything is printed in black, with no other color in the design.

Quick answers
What do I see opposite the handle?
Plain ceramic. The two prints sit on the sides, so straight on you catch the end of one and the start of the other.
Do the words take up much of the mug?
Yes. The lettering is large: it spans most of each side and about half of the mug's height.
Would it suit someone who follows astrology?
As a nod to the night sky, yes. The print pairs a motto with two small star figures and is not tied to any one birthday month, so it works for anyone on your list.
